The original 1987 album remastered in 2015 by Ronan McHugh and Joe Elliott. All seven discs are contained in gatefold card sleeves which fold out to reveal artwork on the two inside sections.

Original B-Sides/Versions from the 1987/1988/1989 singles. Tracks 2/3 are all the original versions and not the 1993 'Retro-Active' ones listed on the press release and official store. The BBC Radio 1 documentary, featuring an interview with Joe Elliott, was originally broadcast on 15th May 1990 and lasted for 60 minutes. The Radio Edit of 'Hysteria' is the US Seven Inch Promo version and not the longer 4:44 edit from a Canadian promo single.

Although labelled as '12" Single' on the booklet, the seven minute version of 'Rocket The Lunar Mix' was not actually released on a 12" single. It was only available in 1988 on the CD single for 'Love Bites'. It was later released on CD again with the 'When Love & Hate Collide' single in 1995 as 'Rocket (Remix)'. The three live tracks were recorded in Tilburg, Holland on 25th June 1987.

Live audio recorded on 12th/13th February 1988 at McNichols Sports Arena in Denver, CO, USA. Originally released in September 1989 on the 'In The Round-In Your Face' live VHS tape. Reissued on DVD in 2002. 'Women' and 'Too Late For Love' were previously released as B-Sides in 1989 and 1992 on both vinyl and CD for the 'Rocket' and 'Let's Get Rocked' singles. Steve Clark's guitar solo is included as part of 'Gods Of War' and not given its own track as Phil's has on Disc 5.

A collection of UK TV performances and promo videos. The first four videos were the only UK TV appearances in this era. The three Top Of The Pops performances feature playback and date from 13th August 1987 (Animal)/17th September 1987 (PSSOM) and 16th February 1989 (Rocket). The 13th February 1989 BRIT Awards performance is also playback and was a live broadcast at the time on BBC One TV.

The first time all of the 8 'Hysteria' album promo videos have been released on the same disc. Neither the 2004 'Best Of The Videos' or 2005 'Rock Of Ages The DVD Collection' DVD's included the UK version of PSSOM. The original 'Historia' collection from 1988 was released four months before the 'Rocket' video was filmed.

Although listed by many online stores and in the press release, the BBC 2 TV 'Rock Of Ages - The Def Leppard Story' documentary was not included on this DVD.

A TV show filmed in the UK in either 2001/early 2002. Classic Albums was a series broadcast in the UK on the ITV 1 channel and now occasionally shown on BBC Four. The DVD was first released in the UK on 27th May 2002 and in the USA on 27th August 2002. It was later broadcast on UK TV.

Bonus Material

Almost 50 minutes of extra footage that was included on the original DVD. It features two live acoustic performances by Joe and Phil which were recorded at a studio in the UK.

A discography book detailing many of the releases and versions of the album and the singles. Listed mostly in text form and with very small front cover art photos included. Many of the listings are duplicate releases from countries around the world rather than actual different versions.

A photo book with shots by Ross Halfin taken throughout the making of the album, the 1986 Monsters Of Rock tour, album/single promo shots and from the 1987-1988 'Hysteria' world tour. The majority of the photos were already published in 'The Definitive Visual History' book in May 2011.

A history of the album written by Mojo and Classic Rock writer Paul Elliott. The story contains new interview quotes from the band and is decorated with many Ross Halfin promo/live photos. Five of the pages feature a 'Track By Track' guide with new quotes about each song by Joe, Phil and Sav. The book differs from the pages of the one shown in the promo photo.

A DVD sized replica of the March/April 1988 European and UK tour programme from the 'Hysteria' world tour. It contains many live and promo photos by Ross Halfin, a one page introduction, two pages of photos/listing of the band/crew members and a one page advert for the 'Animal Instinct' book.

A poster included alongside the books which folds out to nine times the size of the DVD sized box. It is a reproduction of an advert for the album on a black background.
