Joe Elliott/Black Eyed Sons

Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott has contributed vocals to the new album by Black Eyed Sons.

The album 'Cowboys In Pinstriped Suits’ is set to be released on Friday 28th January 2025 via Off Yer Rocka Recordings.

The singles 'Lie To Me' and 'Medicine' were released on 16th September and can be heard below.

Joe has contributed backing vocals to the title track 'Cowboys In Pinstriped Suits' alongside Ryan Roxie and Chip Z’Nuff.

Black Eyed Sons feature members of the last line-up of The Quireboys who split from their original vocalist in 2022.

The band include Guy Griffin (guitar, lead vocals), Keith Weir (keyboards, piano), Paul Guerin (guitar), Pip Mailing (drums) and Nick Mailing (bass).

The band take their new name from The Quireboys album 'Black Eyed Sons' (2014).

They also later had a single called 'Original Black Eyed Son' from the 2019 album 'Amazing Disgrace'.

The album was originally set to be called 'The Band Rolls On...' and announced in August 2022 but will now come out under the new name.

Joe spoke about his guest appearance to Planet Rock and this seems to be the collaboration he mentioned in his recent Classic Rock magazine interview.

Other guests on the album include members of Skid Row, White Lion and Dan Reed (of the Dan Reed Network).

Down 'n' Outz

Guy, Paul and Keith were all members of Joe's side band the Down 'n' Outz who formed in 2009 and have been inactive since 2019.

The album 'This Is How We Roll' was released in October 2019 but there were no tour dates due to Joe being busy with Def Leppard.
