DEF LEPPARD Cancel QUITO, ECUADOR Live 2026 Tour Show
Def Leppard's upcoming Live 2026 tour leg now has one less show after a cancellation in Ecuador.
The Live 2026 tour is set to resume on 15th October in Hollywood, FL.
North/South American Tour 2026
Nine shows will now be played in October/November after one of the upcoming shows has been called off.
The band were due to play on Friday, 30th October in Quito, Ecuador at the Estadio Olimpico Atahualpa stadium.
Local press reported today that the show has been removed from the tour schedule and therefore cancelled.
Many media reports included the statement given to them which stated the show was cancelled due to - "circumstances beyond the control of the artist and the production team".
The stadium holds 35,258 and was the second largest venue on this tour leg after the other stadium show in San Salvador (44,836).
Iron Maiden play the same stadium on 14th October.
,p> This is the first time both bands have toured South America around the same time. The cancellation follows the Dubai show being removed from the schedule in August and two cancelled shows in 2025 in Florida and Mexico.
The last South American trip in early 2023 on The World Tour also saw cancelled shows in Brazil.
The March 2023 shows in Curitiba and Porto Alegre were cancelled in November 2022 due to "production and logistical reasons".
Movistar Arenas
In other tour news the third of the three 'Movistar Arena' shows had a venue name change in September 2026 and is now known as 'Santander Arena (Santiago)'.
Still currently the final scheduled show of the year.
