DEF LEPPARD Announce Volume 4 Box Set/REVOLUTION Single Out Now
Def Leppard have announced the Volume 4 CD/Vinyl box set for this November and released a new single today.
The fourth box set is due this November.
Volume 4 CD/Vinyl Box Set Release
The long awaited 'Volume 4' box set is set for release on Friday 13th November 2026.
The 6 CD / 11 LP box set covers the years 2015 to 2023 and includes the last three studio albums 'Def Leppard', 'Diamond Star Halos' and 'Drastic Symphonies'.
Discs 4, 5 and 6 include a mix of unreleased and rare material, some of which dates from before 2015.
Included are a number of Record Store Day releases not previously available outside of vinyl and the iTunes-only 'The Lost Session'.
Plus the three 2012/2013 re-records that were deleted from digital services in January 2018.
Many song versions were released only in Japan as bonus tracks and on rare/hard to find limited edition CDs including all of the bonus tracks/alternate versions from 'Def Leppard' and 'Diamond Star Halos'.

This release comes just over five years after the June 2021 release of the Volume 3 box set.
Revolution (Abandoned TV AD) Single
During The Stadium Tour in August 2022 Joe mentioned in a backstage vlog video that the band had covered a rock classic for an upcoming TV advert and that he recorded his vocal for it the same day.
The song has now been revealed as a cover of 'Revolution' by The Beatles and labelled as (Abandoned TV AD).
The single can be heard now on all streaming services - listen below via Spotify.
The song was also covered by Vivian on the 'Butchering The Beatles' tribute album in 2006 alongside Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top.
The song was written by Paul McCartney and John Lennon and originally released in 1968 for 'The White Album' and is Def Leppard's first released Beatles studio cover.
The 1987 'Rock Of Ages (Live In Tilburg)' B-Side included a portion of 'Come Together' during the medley section.
David Bowie/Bad Company Covers/YEAH! 4
The last disc of the six also sees the excellent "Heroes" cover included after it was played over the PA during The Stadium Tour in 2022 and The World Tour in 2023.
And the disc also features the Def Leppard only version of 'Seagull' that Joe mentioned in January 2026 as an upcoming release.
Many of the versions included have been put out previously only as bonus songs in Japan, on rare album editions and on iTunes only/Record Store Day vinyl releases.
The only "possible" glaring omission (if you don't like buying vinyl) is the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Live EP tracks from 2019 which could have fit nicely on Disc 6.
A limited edition SHM-CD version of the CD bo set will be released in Japan on the same day.

Def Leppard Volume 4 Box Set Press Quotes Description 2
"The fourth box set tracing the career of Def Leppard, who continue to lead the British rock scene, is here! It includes all tracks from 3 albums released from 2015 onward, plus 3 CDs of rare recordings."
"The band poured their energy into the self-titled "Def Leppard" (2015, No. 11 in the UK), their first new album in 7 years."
"Diamond Star Halos" (2022, No. 5 in the UK) was recorded remotely during the pandemic and opened a new chapter in the group's history."
"The distinctive "Drastic Symphonies" (2023, No. 4 in the UK) brought in the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to breathe new life into the group's classic songs through orchestral arrangements."
"Each is a masterpiece with a character all its own. Discs 4-6, titled "The Rarities", feature a wealth of rare recordings the band made primarily from the 2010s onward."
"These include non-album singles, rare live-in-studio recordings, the 3 studio tracks included on the live album "Mirror Ball", demos offering a glimpse into the origins of individual songs, covers of classic songs recorded for various projects, and a previously unreleased track discovered in recent years, "Miss You in a Heartbeat", featuring Ian Hunter on piano, among others."
"There are more than 40 tracks in total. All albums were mastered by Ronan McHugh."
"The 40-page English-language booklet features interviews in which Joe Elliott and other band members share behind-the-scenes stories about making the albums and rare recordings, along with rare photographs by Ross Halfin."
Joe Elliott Quotes
“At last! It’s here! Volume 4 gathers together our remaining studio albums and some very interesting bonus material,”.
“Some of the bonus bits are quite recent but there is also something that was lost in the vaults for over 33 years until earlier this year."
"We’re extremely excited to finally put this box set in front of you, it’s a great listen and a good read too!”
