2025 Backyard Concert
The private charity concert took place last night at a private residence in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles.
And although Joe days it was in Santa Monica that is actually five miles away and not part of Pacific Palisades, but close enough.
Santa Monica being the scene of their first show in the USA on 20th May 1980.
The band played five acoustic songs alongside an impressive line-up of artists that included The Who (with Eddie Vedder), The Doobie Brothers, John Fogerty, Cheap Trick and Peter Frampton.
Media Photos/Eddie Vedder Pic
A number of media photos have been posted which can be seen below including Joe posing with Eddie Vedder.
They were first photographed together in November 2014 in London at The Who's 50th anniversary tribute night.
A show that saw Joe sing one song and then sing backing vocals during one of Eddie's performances later in the show.
Joe is also shown with Roger Daltrey and Cheap Trick.

The Joe Elliott Show 4th October 2025 Quotes
Now, I mentioned at the top of the show that last night was epic—and indeed, it was.
We were in Santa Monica, which is ironically the place where Def Leppard played their first-ever show in America, 45 years ago.
It was for Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey, from The Who’s Teenage Cancer Trust charity show, which is held here once a year.
This year, it's to raise money for the firemen who were there and putting their lives on the line during that devastating fire in the Malibu Palisades area of California about 18 months ago.
And what a lineup!, The Who (featuring Eddie Vedder), our good selves, Cheap Trick, Peter Frampton, John Fogerty (once of Creedence Clearwater Revival), The Doobie Brothers.
He guested with The Who last night but is a star in his own right and with his own band.
From the album Earthling, this is Eddie Vedder with "The Power of Right".
