Def Leppard played show number 25 of The Stadium Tour in Indianapolis, IN last night with 17 songs performed.

The show took place at the 70,000 capacity Lucas Oil Stadium.

The first visit to Indianapolis since July 2018 on the Journey co-headline tour.

The 20th show by the band in this city and first time at this venue.

The first visit here took place in August 1981 at Hilbert Circle Theatre as support to Ozzy Osbourne during the High 'n' Dry tour.

Show #25 - Another Indoor Stadium

Another indoor concert in another MASSIVE stadium. The third indoor show of the tour after Toronto and Minneapolis.

A giant retractable roof (closed) and a huge retractable (and also closed) window behind and above the stage with the skyline on downtown Indianapolis in view and a sunset by the end of the show.

Follow this link to see what the stadium looks like with the roof and window open.

The show kicked off at 7:30pm ET. A slightly more civilised time than the previous show (for International fans online...).

Mr Rick Allen aka The Thundergod started the drum intro for 'Take What You Want' and the band made themselves right at home in this huge 70,000 seat NFL stadium.

Home of the Indianapolis Colts team.

A quick "Good evening Indianapolis!." and 'Let It Go' continued another hot performance by the band in more 30C temperatures.

Heat and sunshine now replacing the lightning storms and rain from Leg 1.

Another loud crowd and some incredible views inside this venue with the lights and lasers looking awesome in the darkness of the closed roof.

A special show on a special day for one of the band members.

The Thundergod Anniversary

Yes Rick "The Thundergod" Allen celebrating the 36th anniversary of his big comeback at Donington Park in Derby, England.

The Monsters Of Rock festival show took place on 16th August 1986 supporting Ozzy Osbourne and Scorpions with Motorhead, Bad News and Warlock also on the bill.

Joe introduced Rick and mentioned the anniversary briefly ahead of 'Rock Of Ages'.

He had already showed off his skills at the end of 'Switch 625' to very loud applause from the over 50,000 fans.

This show being one of the largest venues and show capacities so far.

25th Show

The 25th show of the tour with now just 11 more to go this year.

And as mentioned by Vivian in the latest Behind The Stadium Tour video - "Next year we'll probably hit it a bit harder and do some more shows" in 2023. A possible hint of upcoming tour announcements.
