DEF LEPPARD Announce Puerto Rico/Illinois State Fair Shows For 2025

Def Leppard have just announced two new shows in Puerto Rico and USA for May/August 2025.

An arena and State Fair show have been confirmed for 2025.

The first shows announced for the 2025 tour which should see them play multiple shows next summer.

Following the one show left to play in 2024 in Immokalee, FL.

Return To Puerto Rico

Def Leppard will return to San Juan, Puerto Rico on 15th May 2025.

The venue is the Coliseo de Puerto Rico.

The band's first time here since June 2015 at the same venue.

Tickets for this show go on sale from 14th November.

A different show poster for this event leaked on Facebook in recent weeks but it has now been confirmed as a legit show.

Illinois State Fair

Def Leppard have also now been announced to play the Grandstand at the Illinois State Fair in Springfield, Illinois.

This show takes place on Saturday 16th August 2025.

A trip back in time for the band to the Euphoria Tour when this event was played in both August 1999 and August 2000.

Both shows were also filed by audience members.

This is the first time at state fairs since three were played in 2015 - Missouri State Fair (Sedalia, MO), Iowa State Fair (Des Moines, IA) and Minnesota State Fair (St. Paul, MN).

Tickets go on sale for this show at 10am on 16th November.

No support acts yet confirmed for either show.

Phil Collen/European Festivals

This news comes after Phil Collen's recent hints of European Shows for 2025 as well as a possible future Las Vegas Residency with an orchestra.

This seemed to hint at European festivals.

The band of course played 8 festival dates in Europe/UK in May/June/July 2023.

Many festivals have started announcing their line-ups for 2025 with Def Leppard "not" included for Sweden Rock (Last played in 2023) or Tons Of Rock (Last played in 2019).

They will also 'not' be playing Download in the UK whose line-up was announced last night.

The third time at this venue.

It was last played in June 2015 on the 2015 World Tour with Vince Neil supporting (and without Vivian).

16th August 2025 - Springfield, IL @ Illinois State Fair - Grandstand @ Illinois State Fairgrounds Racetrack - NEW

The third time at this venue and event.

It was last played in August 2000 on the Euphoria tour.

Country singer Megan Morony also plays the fair on 10th August.

A show taking place on the 29th anniversary of the 1986 Monsters Of Rock show at Donington.
