The venue is located in the East of the city centre and within the grounds of the University Of Oregon and is surrounded by other sporting venues.
The larger 12,000+ capacity Matthew Knight Arena is also part of the University which was opened in January 2011 and eventually played by the band in September 2016 which would be only their second time back since this show.
The venue was home to the Oregon Ducks basketball teams until 2011 and is also called 'The Pit' and 'Mac Court'.
It was opened in 1926.
It hosted concerts since at least 1967.
This was the band's first proper arena show in the USA and first of two in Oregon on this tour with the second one having a larger capacity.
