DEF LEPPARD 2018 News Recap Part 12 (December)

Welcome to recap of all things Def Leppard in the year 2018 continuing with the month of December.
Another year for the band has ended and these updates look back at the major events that took place over the last 12 months.
Featuring links to past news stories.
2018 became one of the band's most successful touring years for decades with 83 shows played on the main world tour and 84 in total throughout the year.
The Hysteria & More tour of the UK and Ireland was played with 12 shows.
The tour started in Dublin, Ireland where the album was first written.
The first London show at The O2 Arena was filmed for a cinema release in 2019 and filming for a tour documentary also continued at every venue played.
The tour also saw a triumphant show in Sheffield the night after they were confirmed as 2019 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Inductees.
It then ended with a second night in London at Wembley Arena after 83 shows on the main tour and 84 played altogether in 2018.
News of a second Las Vegas residency and new North American tour dates also emerged through online chatter and a Japanese interview.
Once again the anniversary of Rick Allen's 1984 car accident was remembered on New Year's Eve.
