DEF LEPPARD To Release SLANG 30th Anniversary Colour Vinyl For RECORD STORE DAY 2026
Def Leppard will release a 2LP coloured vinyl edition of Slang for Record Store Day 2026.
The official list of releases for Record Store Day 2026 have just been announced and Def Leppard are included once more.
After missing 2025 as a band they are back.
Record Store Day 2025
The band will release the 'Slang 30th Anniversary Edition' album on Limited Edition Magenta/Pink Coloured 12" vinyl.
Various stores listed it as magenta, pink colour and translucent vinyl.
The full album is featured on disc one with disc two "personally curated by Joe Elliott" and featuring B-Sides and outtakes.
Both discs are 180 gram magenta coloured vinyl.
This is the 9th time the band have been involved in Record Store Day.
This year Record Store Day takes place on Saturday 18th April.
The second release of the year 2026 after the recent 'Rejoice' single and first physical format release.
Slang 1996
'Slang' was first released in May 1996 and marked a departure in sound from the band's classic 80s/early 90s high production.
Including the singles 'Slang', 'Work It Out', 'All I Want Is Everything' and 'Breathe A Sigh' it remains a fan favourite.
In 2014 the album was reissued with a bonus CD as the 'Slang Deluxe Edition'.
The second disc of this RSD release includes a selection of tracks from that release.
