DEF LEPPARD Release New STAND BY ME Promo Video

Def Leppard have just released the promo video for their new single Stand By Me.

The first release of 2025 and tied in to the current Netflix movie 'Bank Of Dave 2 The Loan Ranger'.

The single was released on 31st January 2025 with all proceeds donated to the FireAid charity following the recent L.A. wildfires.

Stand By Me Promo Video

The band's new promo video for 'Stand By Me' has just been released via YouTube.

The video features mostly black and white footage of the band performing the song against a black background.

It also shows them in the UK in March 2024 rehearsing before acting and performing in 'Bank of Dave 2 The Loan Ranger' film.

This footage was shot in Burnley and Leeds.

Also included is a brief clip from 'Video Archive' of the 1988 performance of the song with Ben E. King in Sanremo, Italy.

First Video Since 2022

The first proper promo video since 'Fire It Up' in 2022 after Lyric Videos and Visualizers were used for 'Drastic Symphonies' and 'Just Like '73'.

'Stand By Me' resembles the 'We All Need Christmas' and 'Personal Jesus' videos which were released in November/December 2018.

'Stand By Me' features almost identical scenes to the 'Personal Jesus' video with the same black background and using black and white.

Sav also uses the same bass as seen in that video.

The behind the scenes footage also being very reminiscent of the 'We All Need Christmas' video.
