35 Years Ago DEF LEPPARD Perform POUR SOME SUGAR ON ME On The Roxy (Photos)

Def Leppard performed their classic single Pour Some Sugar On Me on UK music show The Roxy on this day in 1987.
The single was released on 7th September in the UK and would reach Number 18 in the charts.
The second Top Ten single for the band in the UK.
This was the band's second time on the show after the 28th July performance of 'Animal' that helped kick off their run of UK success that summer.
As with that appearance this one was also repeated on Saturday morning in the same week.
This was also the first time Joe was seen wearing the legendary 'Women Of Doom' cut-off T-Shirt on TV. A top he wore a few times on the UK tour and would wear from October 1987 to February 1988 in the USA. Immortalised in the 'PSSOM'/'Armageddon It' promo videos and the 'In The Round-In Your Face' concert film.
Other artists on the same show included Johnny Hates Jazz and Curiosity Killed the Cat.
