DEF LEPPARD Live In Hollywood, FL 2025 (Show Report/Setlist)

Def Leppard played a 2025 tour show last night in Hollywood, FL with 18 songs performed.
The show took place at the 7,000 capacity Hard Rock Live.
A return to an indoor theatre venue.
The first visit to this city since August 2024.
Back In Florida
From Minnesota down to sunny Florida.
And the safety of an indoor casino venue to spare them from thundery showers outside (according to the weather local forecast).
The latest casino theatre venue to be played and one of the biggest with room for the big stage and up to 7,000 fans.
And in the run up to show time it was revealed the show was indeed sold out.
A third year in a row at this venue.
They would have returned to Florida to kick things off for 2025 at a certain festival show in January were it not for the curious cancellation.
Instead they started in Mexico where they would have also ended the year but for another 'curious cancellation'.
No problems here though as the second to last show of this Summer Tour 2025 in the USA and Canada was set to begin.
There Will Be Rock!
Rick posted his usual pre show video and talked of being busy all day.
And suggested the band are planning another change to the set before next week in Chelmsford and/or already preparing songs for the residency.
And perhaps an as yet unannounced appearance in the UK? - we'll see. Doesn't appear they would need to rehearse This Guitar or TSB much having played them all year, and the last few years.
Rick - "I almost forgot tonight. Got so busy. I was meeting with Raven Drum folks."
Rick - "It's nice to be playing this venue again, we keep coming back here, the Hard Rock."
Rick - "It's been a long day, busy, just soundchecking, doing songs that we haven't played in England, and just figuring out some acoustic stuff that we've been doing."
Hollywood Rock
Once again an early show but also later than the scheduled 8pm with another 8:15pm start time.
And of course 'Rock! Rock!' kicked off the night followed by 'Rocket' and they had lift off (not that far from where they actually do launch rockets).
A lot of video posted from this show and a band in top form back in a very familiar venue.
No sign of the interesting acoustic set outfits displayed last year here by Sav and Rick (sunglasses and Hawaiian style shirts), or indeed the 'Bra on guitar neck' moment by Phil.
No birthdays to celebrate here.

A loud and enthusiastic crowd enjoying a great rock show.
And once more Joe acknowledging this at the end by thanking each section of the venue individually before the usual 'Until next time' speech.
It's safe to say next time might not be next year. but they will be in a similar venue to this in February in Las Vegas.
As you might have noticed over the last few visits the stage area is surrounded by a 'VIVA! Hysteria' style red curtain.
Joe did suggest many more visits by calling the venue an 'amazing place' and hoping that they 'keep coming back here', so there may yet be a fourth visit in a row in 2026.
No rarities played tonight but the crowd did get the newly added 'When Love & Hate Collide' for the first time here in its all electric form.
'PSSOM' ended the latest show, and the last indoor one in this country until the somewhat random return in October.
And now one more day off before the last show of this tour leg in Virginia.
Back outdoors to a very traditional amphitheatre venue played many times in the past.
18 Song Setlist
A 18 song setlist was played.
'When Love & Hate Collide' were played here for the first time as the full electric version. Previously played as the semi acoustic version on 2023 on The World Tour.
Hollywood History
The first visit to Hollywood took place in May 1983 at Hollywood Sportatorium on the Pyromania tour.
They returned to the same venue in December 1987 for a Hysteria tour show (at one end due to weight restrictions at the venue).
A show filmed by fans.
Hard Rock Live was played for the first time in 2005 on the Rock Of Ages tour.
They played it again in 2006, 2008 and in March 2023 on The World Tour with Motley Crue.
The last visit here was in August 2024 on The Summer Stadium tour at the same venue.
Last night's show was the 8th performance in Hollywood.
The next Def Leppard show takes place in Virginia Beach, VA on 31st August.
