DEF LEPPARD Live In Bangor, ME 2025 (Show Report/Setlist)

Def Leppard played a 2025 tour show last night in Bangor, ME with 18 songs performed.
The show took place at the 16,000 capacity Maine Savings Amphitheater.
Another outdoor show.
The first show in this city since 2016.
Back In Bangor
The tour moved back outdoors to another roofless amphitheater.
And back to Maine which has become a mess less played state in recent years and usually only saw shows in Portland for many tours.
No sign of Lep fan Stephen King but the weather was quite gloomy as The Struts ended their set with much of the crowd getting wet.
The Struts started their opening set at 7:30pm.
They were watched by Rick Allen who once again posted a side stage pre-show video update and looked quite happy.
Rock! Rock! In Maine
The band started earlier than normal at around 8:50pm following the usual Pyro Clock countdown.
It appears the rain went away and they started strong with 'Rock! Rock!' and 'Rocket'.
Hard to believe but due to playing here so few times the crowd got four/five live debuts - if they had only seen them in Bangor before.
All debuts detailed below which included the first time the whole band had played 'Rock! Rock!' here and the band's most familiar acoustic song together in this city.
Sadly quite possibly the most frustrating show yet on this tour to follow as it happened from elsewhere but another great show was played.
See Fan Videos for the evidence.
The Live Fan Broadcasts pretty much stopped after 'Rocket' but they kept rocking away in Bangor until the encore of 'Hysteria' and PSSOM' ending yet another show.
Possibly played to almost 16,000 fans with Joe commenting on what a "great crowd" they had in even before 'Let's Get Rocked'.
Just one day off between shows now as they head over to Connecticut.
To the even more familiar than Atlantic City surroundings of Uncasville and an arena show where they may bring back the Thrust stage.
Note - Seating chart shows actually it won't be back after all.
18 Song Setlist
An 18 song setlist was played.
'Just Like '73', 'Die Hard The Hunter', 'Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)', and 'This Guitar' were all played here for the first time.
The full version of 'Two Steps Behind' also made its debut in Bangor having only previously been played during the 2012 tour as the soundcheck/medley version.
Bangor History
The first visit to Bangor was in August 1981 on the High 'n' Dry tour with Ozzy Osbourne at Municipal Auditorium.
They would not return until 31 years later in August 2012 on the second Rock of Ages tour.
Also the first time at this venue then called Bangor Waterfront Pavilion.
They returned for a second show here in June 2016 with REO Speedwagon and Tesla under the name Darling's Waterfront Pavilion.
Last night's show was the 4th performance in Bangor.
The next Def Leppard show takes place in Uncasville, CT on 3rd July.
