DEF LEPPARD Live In Atlantic City, NJ 2025 (Show Report/Setlist)

Def Leppard 2025. Screenshots

Def Leppard played a 2025 tour show last night in Atlantic City, NJ with 18 songs performed.

The show took place at the 3,200 capacity Borgata Event Center.

Another indoor show at a casino complex.

The first show in this city since 2023.

Back Indoors

The band returned to Atlantic City in New Jersey and some respite from the outdoor amphitheatre heat of Arkansas and Alabama.

And also returned to a once regular venue in the 2010s era.

The last time in the city saw them play twice alongside Motley Crue to kick off The World Tour.

Just one show this time and back to the Borgata Casino.

One of, in not the smallest show on the 2025 tour.

The slightly cramped space in the venue meant the large video screen behind them was smaller than normal.

The much lightning rig and PA stacks both hanging down over the screen and once more no Thrust stage.

Early Start In New Jersey

Another earlier start at 8:20pm.

Not many fan broadcasts this time but the few that happened were great quality and showed the band were having a great time in this intimate setting.

The band's first time here in over 17 years.

Joe especially was having a good time as you can read below in his between song speeches.

In fact the entire show is now available (see Fan Videos Playlist).

Before introducing Vivian Joe recounted the story of the Foolin' video which was shot in Elizabeth, New Jersey in 1983.

And how he had to ride a horse in footage that didn't make the final cut.

He also extended his usual lengthy intro to This Guitar and mentioned how much of the crowd had already been seated before they started the acoustic section.

And noted at the end of the show that "that was amazing" showing the seating didn't affect the atmosphere of the concert at all.

Now they head back outdoors and probably back into the heat.

Two more days off for the band with the next show over in Maine.

18 Song Setlist

An 18 song setlist was played.

'Just Like '73' was played here for the first time.

Atlantic City History

The first visit to Atlantic City was in August 2003 on the X tour.

Also the first time at the Borgata which would be played in 2005, twice in 2006 and again in 2008 on the Sparkle Lounge tour.

The next visit took place in July 2012 with Poison/Lita Ford at Revel Ovation Hall.

They returned in August 2014 with KISS at the Boardwalk Hall.

The last time in this city was for two nights in February 2023 at Hard Rock Live At Etess Arena on The World Tour.

Last night's show was the 10th performance in Atlantic City.

The next Def Leppard show takes place in Bangor, ME on 1st July.

Joe Elliott - Let's Get Rocked Intro

"Good evening, Atlantic City!"

"I know it’s a bit of a trouble to be here tonight. How are you doing?"

"It’s good to be back. It’s been a while since we’ve been here."

"We love this place. It’s intimate, it’s tight, and we can see the white's of your eyes."

"This is not a bad thing."

"Are we feeling good out there?"

"Try this for a question."

2Do you wanna get rocked?!"

Joe Elliott - Foolin' Intro

"Thank you, thank you very much."

"Here’s a song for you."

"Let’s be honest — this has remained very popular since we first played this thing 42 years ago."

Joe Elliott - Foolin' Video Story/Armageddon It Intro

"We shot the video for that song in New Jersey."

"We spent three days shooting that video."

"Two of them you saw — and the third day never made the cut."

"It was me riding a horse."

"All f**king day long."

"Painful as f**k."

"And they didn’t use one second of it."

"Bastards!."

"Anyway, enough of that."

"Let’s move on to this next tune, which is going to be introduced to you by a gentleman who is now back — and fit and healthy."

"Vivian Campbell!."

Joe Elliott - This Guitar Intro

"Thank you very much."

"Some of you actually sat down a little — like, two songs too soon."

"We knew you would."

"It’s okay to sit down on this one, because we’re going to play you some speed metal."

"Actually… f**king not. At all."

"We are going to play you something a little bit more down, a little more laid-back."

"It’s a number that really shows off these guys’ amazing singing abilities."

"It’s something I’m very proud of — all of it."

"Yeah, real, by the way."

"All these people online saying that we’re mime?"

"Really? F**k off."

"We practice here."

"Now let’s bring them out, shall we? One at a time."

"Here he is — we first met when he was in a band called Girl."

"He slept in my mum and dad’s house and put mascara all over the pillowcase."

"From London, England — Mr. Phil Collen!"

"We’ve already met him, but let’s meet him again."

"From Belfast, in Northern Ireland — Mr. Vivian Campbell!"

"We met in August 1977."

"We started this thing after we’d known each other for 48 years."

"My best mate on the bass at the tower — Mr. Rick Savage!"

"Yeah, I can hear him shaking his moneymaker."

"Hold on. Come on."

"Here he is — Mr. Rick Allen, everyone!"

"Now this song actually goes way, way back — but we all recorded it three or four years ago."

"It’s on the Diamond Star Halos album."

"It’s called This Guitar."

Joe Elliott - End Of Photograph Speech

"Atlantic City, New Jersey."

"Wherever you have travelled to be here tonight."

"Thanks for having us."

"Thanks for coming."

"We've loved every minute if this thank you."

"We'll catch ya next time good night!"

Joe Elliott - End Of Show Speech

"Seriously guys that was amazing. Thank you."

"Let’s do this again one day, huh?"

"Atlantic City, New Jersey — wherever you’re from, thanks for coming once again."

"Thanks for having us. Thanks for being here."

"Until next time — and there will be a next time."

"Do us a big favour."

"Right, don’t forget us, and we won’t forget you."

"Good night!"
