Def Leppard played a Summer Stadium Tour 2024 show last night in Denver, CO with 18 songs performed.

The show took place at the 50,398 capacity Coors Field.

The first show in this city since July 2022.

The third time at this venue.

Mile High Pyromania

The Summer Stadium Tour moved back to outdoor stadiums after the second arena show in Spokane.

And this time moving back south to a special city for the band.

Not In The Round back definitely back in the faces of Lep fans in "Denver, Colorado!".

And on the 35th anniversary of the release of the 'In The Round-In Your Face' live concert video filmed in February 1988 at the nearby an sadly demolished McNichols Arena.

Update - Joe's speeches are now up in full on YouTube and he mentioned this before 'Two Steps Behind'.

Also a return to closing the show here after playing before Motley Crue in 2022.

A show that featured a great sunset as they played 'Two Steps Behind' but this time it was Journey who got the sunset slot on their final show with Def Leppard in 2024.

Cheap Trick also opened the show once again for the final time at 6pm.

After over 20 shows it was time for the last Stadium show of the 2024 tour coming one day before today's second anniversary of The Stadium Tour 2022 ending.

42,737 fans were played to in 2022 and there looked to be the same amount or more packed into the massive stadium as the Pyro Clock countdown began.

Under Fire In Denver

At 9:15pm the Pyro Clock countdown began and by the time it was just about to end someone began broadcasting live on FB.

The start of the show and most of the first three songs were shown and it was clear this would be a loud crowd.

As you would expect with over 42,000 fans watching.

Coor Field now in full darkness and time for Def Leppard to play one last stadium show in 2024.

With both Phil and Joe saying in 2020 they were gearing up for a "three year tour" it's unclear whether their time in stadiums is over.

But it is for 2024 at least.

Sadly the live videos were less frequent for the rest of the show but still lots of good footage was posted and much more than Spokane.

'Comin' Under Fire' was played once more and possibly for the last time on this tour.

Last Night In Denver

Joe set the mood of the show by announcing before 'Foolin'' that this was "the last night of The Stadium Tour".

Sav wore a Colorado Rockies baseball shirt for 'This Guitar' the acoustic section to keep his sports shirt tradition going.

'Hysteria' and 'PSSOM' brought the night to a close again.

So the Stadium portion of the tour is over but one more show to go in a return to amphitheatres in Salt Lake City.

And then a gap until they return to Florida in November (and at some point Def Leppard and Tesla's online people might notice the show is scheduled...).

19 Song Setlist

A 19 song setlist was played.

'Just Like '73' and 'Comin' Under Fire' were played in this city for the first time.

Denver History

The first visit to Denver took place in June 1980 at the McNichols Arena on their first American tour.

The 12th/13th February 1988 Hysteria two In the Round shows were filmed for the 'In The Round-In Your Face' concert video at McNichols Sports Arena.

Coors Field was first played in Jut 2018 with Journey playing before Def Leppard and again with the band playing before Motley Crue in July 2022 on The Stadium Tour.

Last night's show was the 29th overall performance in Denver.

The next Def Leppard show takes place in Salt Lake City, UT on 10th September.
