Def Leppard's live album Diamond Star Heroes Live From Sheffield is being released again next month in SACD format.

The May 2023 Sheffield concert film is coming out on a new format.

Diamond Star Heroes Live From Sheffield

The 'Diamond Star Heroes Live From Sheffield' concert film/album was first released on Friday 21st November 2025 by Mercury Studios.

The second show to be released from the 2023 tour after 'Live At The Leadmill'.

It was the first Def Leppard concert film to be released in 4K Ultra HD (UHD) format.

2026 SACD Audio Format Release

The full 17 song show is now being released on Friday 2nd October 2026 as a double SACD.

The Super Audio CD (SACD) format is a "high-resolution optical audio disc format" first used in 1999 which features Direct Stream Digital (DSD) and Hybrid Multi-Channel Stereo.

This edition of the album comes in a Super Jewel Case with the original 16-page booklet from the regular 2025 release.

It is being release via the Evolution Music Group as part of their Front Row Center collection and also includes a sticker featuring the album cover.

It was due in the UK today but is now due out next week in October.

It appears it was already released in some countries in late August.
