DEF LEPPARD Debut JUST LIKE '73/Comin' Under Fire In LA (Show Report/Setlist)
Def Leppard 2024
Def Leppard played their first concert of 2024 last night in Los Angeles, CA with 12 songs performed.
The show took place at SiriusXM Radio's The Garage venue.
The first show in this city since August 2022 by the band and since September 2022 by Joe, Phil and Sav.
The first time ever at this intimate venue.
A private show at SiriusXM's studio complex so no Live Updates and more of a (sort of) Setlist analysis below than a Show Report.
It Begins (Again)
Yes only announced a short time before the show took place the band were back in action.
Back In Your Face so to speak although with the show being private and not in a public venue no one outside of the small audience saw it.
But fortunately someone shared the setlist (which hopefully is correct and not made up...).
There's usually a lot more to say but that can wait until St. Louis in a few weeks time.
12 Song Setlist
The same 17 song setlist played once more - Oops wrong tour...
As you can see below a 12 song setlist was played and it was rather good...and hopefully we all get to see and hear most of this when SiriusXM releases footage.
Last Los Angeles Show
The last full show here was at SoFi Stadium in 27th August 2022 on The Stadium Tour.
A venue which they will return to on 25th August.
The next Def Leppard show takes place in St. Louis, MO on 6th July as The Summer Stadium Tour starts.

Def Leppard - Los Angeles, CA 12th June 2024 Setlist
- 01 - Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)
Played for the first time since Melbourne, Australia on 18th November 2015.

- 04 - Die Hard The Hunter
Played for the first time since 7th September 2019 in Las Vegas, NV on the final night of the Hits Vegas Sin City Residency.
At that time it had not been played since one time with Vivian in April 1992 and before that not since February 1984 in Bangkok so great to see it back again!.
- 05 - Kick
Played for the first time since the last show on 14th November 2023 in Melbourne, Australia.
And more importantly a good song from the last album that still keeps it's place in the setlist.
- 06 - Just Like '73 - (Live Debut)
'Just Like '73' the brand new single from Def Leppard now available from all good digital retailers.
A live debut before the release which has not happened for some time.
Not since 'Rock On' was aired a year before it came out in 2005 (feel free to look around to check if that's correct).
The first play of the song anywhere and hopefully captured on film for us all to see soon.
And now back to listening to the song again (as it's quite good!).

Excuse me?. What the f....OK it's not really a surprise but 41 years after it's release this song was played for the very first time.
And yes they really should add 'Stagefright' and 'Action! Not Words' on the main tour - perhaps they will.
Needless to say someone at SiriusXM needs to think about uploading some videos to YouTube very soon.

Yes you can believe your eyes, they did no end with ROA/Photograph.
8 songs from 'Pyromania' played in one show.
The previous record I believe is 7 during the 'Hysteria' tour (again feel free to check this...).
