It was opened in 2005 as a semi-permanent venue named Arkansas Music Pavilion before it became a permanent venue in June 2014 and was renamed Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion (Walmart AMP for short).

A smaller type of amphitheatre and more open than most and the first of three shows with Bret Michaels supporting.
