The band performed twice on Steve's birthday. In 1979 when he turned 19 and again in 1980 on his 20th. Steve sadly passed away in January 1991 during the recording of the 'Adrenalize' album.
The band went on to perform three more times on this date after his death in 1997, 2008 and 2015.
Vivian Campbell played a show on this day in 2016 in Milan, Italy at the Frontiers Rock Festival with his band Last In Line.
The 'And There Will Be A Next Time...Live From Detroit' concert was broadcast on US TV channel AXS TV on this day in 2017.
