The venue is located in the docklands arena of the city centre and next to the River Mersey and joined to the ACC Convention Center.
It was opened in January 2008 as Echo Arena.
Since November 2018 it has been called M&S Bank Arena.
The arena was expanded in 2012 and 2017.
The first ever playing of the full 'Hysteria' album in Liverpool.
'Don't Shoot Shotgun', 'Run Riot', 'Excitable' and 'Love And Affection' were all played for the first time in Liverpool. 'Promises' was played as Song #13 and for the first time on the 2018 tour.
