The venue is located to the South of the city centre on East Island beside Lake Ontario.
It was opened in May 1995 as Molson Amphitheatre.
From 2010 to 2017 it was known as Molson Canadian Amphitheatre.
Since 2017 it has been known as Budweiser Stage.
The final show of the second leg of the 2016 summer tour. Joe recalled the first show played by the band in Toronto on the Pyromania tour in 1983 during his usual pre Rock On speech.
The show was attended by Emm Gryner and her brother Frank who directed the three promo videos from the current album.
Both of them supported Def Leppard as members of Trapper in May 2015 in Canada.
