The venue is located in the Kita-ku ward of Osaka in the North of the city.
It was opened in 1958.
The venue was upgraded and reopened in April 2013.
The venue is beneath the Festival Tower with stands between the Dojima River to the north and the Tosahori River to the south.
A decent quality audience recording exist from this show which also adds 'Tear It Down' from the 1989 MTV Video Music Awards as a extra.
It is sometimes labelled as being from the 21st May show (and called 'Gods Of War') but is actually from night two on this date.
A newer version is tiled 'Osaka 2nd Night' with newer updated artwork.
As with the Stockholm show in March a number of extra song snippets were played before and during the encore song 'Travellin' Band'.
This included Joe trying to get the crowd to chant the "Na-na-na-na" section of a Wilson Pickett song.
