The venue is located in the centre of Memphis within the Memphis Fairgrounds and close to the Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium.
It was opened in 1963.
The venue still stands but was closed in 2006.
Rick Allen (and possibly other band members) visited Elvis Presley's home Graceland with members of Tesla while in town.
