The second of two nights in this city.

The second time at this venue.

This show was added after the first night sold out.

One of five shows added to the schedule after the first five sold out after being announced in December 1987.

The fifth London show of the tour making it the most played city on any single headline tour by the band.

The venue is located in the Wembley Park area of North West London and stands next to the 90,000 capacity Wembley Stadium on the same complex.

It was opened in July 1934 as the Empire Pool and is the second largest currently used arena in London after The O2.

The venue was renovated in 2005 to 2006 and reopened on 2nd April 2006 with an increased capacity and with the main front entrance moved from the East side of the venue to the West.

In 1978 the name was changed to Wembley Arena and then to The SSE Arena, Wembley in 2014.

A decent audience recording exists of this show but does not include 'Die Hard The Hunter'. The recording surfaced 29 years after the show took place in 2017.

'Die Hard The Hunter' appears to have been dropped to make room for the extra encore on this second night. One of the few times (or possibly only time) it was not played on the 1987/1988 tour.

At this time the venue still had the floor seating in place for rock shows instead of the normal standing areas.

'Travellin' Band' returned to the set having been played a few times at the shows in Europe.
