The 1987 show had been at the short lived and smaller capacity NEC Forum on the same complex.
This second night was added in February 1988 after it the first one had sold out.
The venue is located to the East of the main city centre within the NEC Exhibition Centre complex of venues and halls and close to the Birmingham International Airport.
It was opened in December 1980 and initially known as Hall 7 and then Birmingham International Arena.
From 1983 to 2008 it became the NEC Arena, LG Arena from 2008 to 2014, Genting Arena from 2014 to 2018 and is now the Resorts World Arena.
It was renovated in 2008 to 2009.
A decent audience recording exists from this show which surfaced in 2017, 29 years after the show had taken place.
'Don't Shoot Shotgun' was played in place of 'Let It Go'.
