- Location / Baltimore, MD, USA
- Venue / Baltimore Arena
The first show by the band in this city.
The first time at this venue.
The venue is located in the downtown area of the city.
It was opened in October 1962.
It was renovated in 1986 and 2003.
It was originally named as Baltimore Civic Center until 1986 when it became Baltimore Arena.
It was them named 1st Mariner Arena from 2003 to 2013 and then Baltimore Arena again in 2013-2014 before it's new name of Royal Farms Arena.
The band began to alternate the last encore with either 'Travellin' Band' or the Little Richard song 'Good Golly Miss Molly'.
Both of these were started using the same drum beat from Rick and included parts of other songs such as 'Mony Mony' and 'Rock And Roll'.
'Don't Shoot Shotgun' was played for the first known time in the USA. Billboard box score confirms this show was played on 9th October and not 8th October.
This show was rescheduled from the 8th October due to travel issues for the crew which delayed the setup of the stage.
The planned show for 9th October at Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, VA was postponed and eventually rescheduled for 16th January 1988.
A decent quality audience recording exists from this show.
