The venue is located in Coogee which is about 4.5 miles south east of Sydney.

It is close to the Coogee Beach in Coogee Bay.

The venue is a small club located within the hotel complex and has hosted concerts for over 40 years.

The date of this show has been corrected from 30th January, the previous Saturday, via a local newspaper which featured listings of all three Australian shows and all of the support acts.

Australian band Boss supported the band and featured Craig Csongrady on lead vocals. He would go on to form the band B.B. Steal and become friends with Phil Collen. Phil later produced their debut EP and most of their debut album 'On the Edge' alongside Pete Woodroffe in 1991.

Joe and Sav appeared on a TV show in Sydney on the day of this show called Sounds with host Donnie Sutherland. they discussed their career and the Narara Festival show the weekend before as well as referencing this show. View photos in the gallery and read an interview transcript.

The whole band were also interviewed on a boat in Sydney Harbour for UK TV show 'The Other Side Of The Tracks'. It focused on a British bands success in North America while being not so famous at home. The show, which aired in March 1984, was presented by American DJ Paul Gambaccini and also featured an interview with music video director Russell Mulcahy.
