The venue was located in the downtown area of the city centre and part of the Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center complex.
It is also a few blocks away from the Chukchansi Park which would be played in June 2005 as the Grizzlies Stadium on the first 'Rock Of Ages' tour with Bryan Adams.
It was opened in October 1966, expanded in 1984 and renovated in November 2006.
A return to Fresno for the first time since the band's second ever USA show here in May 1980 with Pat Travers.
