The venue is located in the city centre and next to the UPMC Park baseball stadium and on the coast of Lake Erie.
It was opened in June 1983 as the Erie Civic Center.
It was then named as the Louis J. Tullio Arena from 2008 to 2012 when it became the Erie Insurance Arena.
It was renovated from 2011 to 2013.
This show was rescheduled from the 20th June due to Joe's throat problems.
Krokus were now back as support act for this run of dates at the end of August that included many shows rescheduled from June during their original run on the tour.
