- Location / Belfast, Northern Ireland
- Venue / Ulster Hall
The first show by the band in this city/country.
The band's first ever show in Belfast and the first official date for the main 'Pyromania' world tour.
The first time at this venue where they would return for two shows on the 'Hysteria' tour in 1987.
This venue is located in the centre of the city.
It was opened in 1862 (as shown on the front of the building) and renovated in 2009.
Joe would later describe this show in the 'Animal Instinct' biography as one of the best shows on the 1983 tour. He also wore the rarely used leopard print shirt at this show which was also worn later on at at least one of the Billy Squier support shows in Irvine, CA.
The same setlist was played as at the two warm-up dates in London and Dublin.
The live album intro was now replaced by the studio version and extra effects added on, as heard on the 2006 Deluxe Edition live show from the L.A. Forum.
The live version was not played again until the outdoor leg of the 1993 'Adrenalize' tour in North America.
Future Leppard Vivian Campbell saw his first ever concert (Rory Gallagher) at this venue but was currently in Los Angeles recording 'Holy Diver' with DIO so did not attend this show.
