The venue was located in the centre of Withersea beside a police station and hospital and just a few streets away from the beach.
It was opened in 1937 and was closed by 1989 when the new Pavilion Leisure Centre was built in its place.
The venue was mostly used as a dancing ballroom.
It hosted concerts from around 1978 to at least 1981.
