Def Leppard's Diamond Star Halos album has today entered the main Australian album charts at Number 3.

'Diamond Star Halos' is the band's 12th studio album.

The album was announced on 17th March and then released on Friday 27th May 2022.

The album has today entered the ARIA Australian album chart Top 50 at Number 3.

Both 'Hysteria' and 'Adrenalize' peaked at Number One in the country in 1989 and 1992.

This is the first major chart entry for the album which will be followed very soon by UK chart entries. Which could see the band make their highest entry since 1996 with 'Slang' or the 2004 'Best Of Def Leppard'.

The self-titled album peaked at Number 4 here in November 2015 which was the second highest position worldwide after Switzerland (#2).

This could well be one of the highest position for this new album once all the positions are in over the next week or so.
