The band's fourth hits compilation album 'The Story So Far...The Best Of' was first released in November 2018.
A limited edition of the album was made available on this day in 2024.
2024 HMV 1921 Edition Coloured Vinyl
On 15th June 2024 the album was released as a limited edition HMV 1921 Edition magenta vinyl.
The 1921 series began in 2021 to mark 100 years of HMV and a coloured vinyl version of 'Hysteria' was issued in 2022.
This edition is still available on the HMV website for 46.99 via the link below.
Purple Or Magenta?
This HMV release was first advertised (and still listed on the HMV site) as purple vinyl but in actual fact was magenta.
A sticker on the top left of the album said "1921 Limited Edition Exclusive Vinyl" and one in the bottom left has "Exclusive Magenta Vinyl".
Another edition (missed at the time) of this album was released in November 2024 exclusively for Barnes & Noble stores in the USA as an exclusive Magenta vinyl.
Like the HMV one the website lists one colour (magenta in this case) but the cover sticker says "Purple Vinyl".
