27 Years Ago DEF LEPPARD Perform WORK IT OUT On The Tonight Show With Jay Leno (Video)
Def Leppard performed Work It Out live on US TV on this day in 1996 and video footage is available.
The band made their debut on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Although the band had played live on the 1992 MTV Awards this was the first performance on a US network television show.
The other guests on this show were actors Teri Hatcher and the late Bill Paxton who passed away in 2017.
'Work It Out' was performed to help promote the newly released 'Slang' album.
The first ever song or single to be written for the band by guitarist Vivian Campbell who had been in the band four years at this point.
The Slang album had been released on 14th May in USA and Canada. A day after it's UK/World release.
