DEF LEPPARD Live In Lincoln, CA 2025 (Show Report/Setlist)

Def Leppard played a 2025 tour show last night in Lincoln, CA with 18 songs performed.
The show took place at the 4,500 capacity The Venue At Thunder Valley Casino Resort.
Another venue within a casino complex.
The first show on the second leg of the North American tour.
The first time at this venue and in this city.
First Time In Lincoln
After a quick two week break the tour made it's way back home, at least for Phil and Rick, who both live not too far away in other parts of California.
A return to the state they played their first USA show in 45 years ago in May 1980.
The first show in California since 30th August 2024 in San Diego at Petco Park.
And a return indoors to another casino venue.
The never before played The Venue At Thunder Valley Casino Resort.
A 4.500 seat theatre of a similar style to the venue in Thackerville which was also played for the first time in June.
The venue is listed as being in Lincoln, CA but is actually in Whitney, CA in Placer County and considered part of Sacramento which is 30 miles away.
A place with record high Summer temperatures of up to 113F.
Only 38C/101F yesterday - a cool day for locals...
Fortunately an indoor show to protect the band from the heat before they go back outside in New Mexico, Iowa and Illinois.
Time for the band to get back to action ahead of their return to US TV next week.
North American Tour Leg Two Starts
After an outdoor show as far east in Canada as you can get the band were back in California and almost as far west as you can go in the USA.
Back in California and back indoors.
Once again for this theatre venue no support act and a scheduled start time of 8pm.
And like the other 8pm shows they actually started at around 8:15pm.
No changes to the now established 18 song setlist.
'Rock! Rock!' and 'Rocket' kicking things off in style as usual.
Another smaller stage area where they couldn't have the usual big lighting rig but the full ramp and lights used on the main stage.
And of course a big video screen behind them showing off the great visuals.
The smaller theatre set up allowing every fan here to have a great close up view of the stage and the band helped by two big side screens.
At least 6 songs were broadcast live by fans showing off another great performance and another loud crowd singing along.
The venue is a similar size to the one they'll play in Las Vegas in February 2026 for the residency.
Some of the extra LED lighting inside the venue surrounding the stage was also used to light up the crowd during the choruses.
The band have now been playing for 45 years in California with this venue around 415 miles north of the first venue played.
The Santa Monica Civic Auditorium which was the scene of the first show in the USA in May 1980.
Two more appearances to come in California with the next being the taping of America's Got Talent on 18th August in Pasadena.
And then a trip to Highland, CA on the 20th the same night AGT will air on NBC and Peacock.
Next up a trip to New Mexico, and back to an outdoor amphitheatre, after two more days off.

Band friend and Tesla singer Jeff Keith posted a photo of himself attending the show (see below).
Ozzy Osbourne Tribute
Joe paid another brief tribute to Ozzy Osbourne again after noticing many Ozzy/Black Sabbath shirts in the crowd.
18 Song Setlist
An 18 song setlist was played.
'Just Like '73' and all other songs played here for the first time.
Lincoln History
No previous visits to Lincoln, California (Lincoln, Nebraska has been played before).
Nearby Sacramento was first played in May 1980 on their debut US tour.
A further 16 shows were played in the city (and Wheatland) from 1981 to 2018.
They included two In The Round shows at Arco Arena in 1987 and 1992 on the Hysteria and Adrenalize tours.
Two outdoor shows in 1988 and 1993 at California Expo Grandstand on the same tours.
Six shows in a row were played from 2006 to 2016 at Sleep Train Amphitheatre (Toyota Amphitheatre).
The last indoor show taking place in October 2018 with Journey at Golden 1 Center.
The last visit to Sacramento took place in November 2019 at Toyota Amphitheatre, the seventh time at that venue and 18th show in Sacramento/Wheatland.
Last night's show was the first performance in Lincoln (and 19th in the Sacramento area).
The next Def Leppard show takes place in Albuquerque, NM on 12th August.
