Def Leppard played a Live 2026 tour show in Bogotá, Colombia last night with 20 songs performed.

The show took place at the 14,000 capacity El Corazón de Bogotá Arena.

The band's first time at this venue.

The first visit to this city since February 2023.

Return To Bogotá

After making their debut in Costa Rica in Alajuela the band had five extra days off following the cancelled show in Ecuador.

As revealed on Joe's radio show on Saturday the band headed east and over to the northern coast of Colombia for a short break,

The city of Cartagena, one of the countries major port cities.

Located just over 400 miles north of Bogotá.

And after the break they headed down to the capital city of Bogotá and to the first of three arenas with the same name.

Well, not quite, much like the arena in Santiago (now Santander Arena). this one also dropped the Movistar Arena name.

The name was changed on 31st October to a temporary one before a more permanent change.

So the band made their way for the first time to the "El Corazón de Bogotá Arena" which translates to The Heart of Bogotá Arena.

An arena that looks a bit like the OVO Hydro in Glasgow on the outside with coloured panels known as "An ETFE cushion façade designed to transform with light.".

After an outdoor amphitheatre the band played a more traditional indoor arena with a circular shape inside not unlike the venue just played in Mexico City,

Extreme

Extreme started this show at 7:30pm.

Another hour long set played with all of their big hits included.

Would one of them be back later on?.

Big Night In Bogotá

At 9:00pm Def Leppard took the stage for only the third time in Bogotá and the first ever indoor arena show in this country.

Two outdoor shows in 1997 and 2023 saw them play to much bigger crowds but they now had 14,000 fans packed into an arena.

'Rejoice' kicking off what would have been the start of three Movistar Arena shows in a row but for the name changes.

Five songs made their debuts in Bogotá.

'Rejoice' was joined by 'Personal Jesus', 'Just Like '73', 'Rock On' and 'White Lightning'.

Unlike the 2023 visit to this city Joe did not have any altitude trouble and didn't have to thank the Marly Clinic who helped him out last time.

No vocal issues this time.

The crowd were loud and ready to have fun but Joe wanted to make sure before Slang with:

"Do you want a bit more fun?!."

Followed by:

"Please welcome on the stage from Extreme Mr. Nuno Bettencourt!."

Yes, once again Nuno joined them for this song and has now more than surpassed any other musician or singer in being a guest on stage with Def Leppard.

After almost 20 years without a guest, other than two one-off appearances with Taylor Swift, last year saw the return of guests on stage with Tom Morello.

And no Nuno has fully taken over in the list of special guests who have appeared with them at full headline shows.

Two more appearances likely to be added over the next few days as the 2026 tour winds down.

Many of the local fans are quite knowledgeable with one handing Phil a West Ham football shirt at the end of the show which he held up for the cameras along with a Colombian flag.

Another great night with only two more shows left to play in 2026.

Next up another quicker than usual return to Argentina.

'Rejoice', 'Personal Jesus', 'Just Like '73', 'Rock On' and 'White Lightning' were all played here for the first time.

Bogotá History

The first visit to Bogota took place in April 1997 on the Slang tour at the Plaza De Eventos at Simón Bolívar Park.

They would return in February 2023 to the same venue with Motley Crue on The World Tour.

Last night's show was the third performance in Bogotá.

The next Def Leppard show takes place on 5th November in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
