DEF LEPPARD Live 2026 Summer Tour In Helsinki (Show Report/Setlist)

Def Leppard played a Live 2026 tour show in Helsinki, Finland last night with 19 songs performed.

The show took place at the 15,000 capacity Veikkaus Arena.

The band's first visit to Finland since 2023.

The second night of the summer Live 2026 tour and first show with special guests Extreme.

Back In Finland

After kicking off the summer tour on Saturday in Sweden in a very scenic outdoor location the band headed over to Finland.

A second show in Scandinavia and a return to Helsinki.

Although labelled as Helsinki the previous two visits saw the band at an outdoor festival in Hyvinkää which is 35 miles outside of the city.

So technically speaking a first show in the main city since June 2008, a gap of 18 years.

A long time to wait for the local fans to see an indoor show by the band after two festival appearances.

They also brought some friends from the USA with them.

Special Guests - Extreme

Extreme played a couple of shows with the band in 2025 and returned for the first of their many special guest slots in 2026 at this show.

Still supporting their latest album 'Six' from which they've released seven singles and/or promo videos.

Recently fooling Joe into thinking they had released new music on his radio show when in fact it was another song from this same album.

Bringing their own solo show set up with them including a drum riser with lights and use of the big screen.

Playing from 7:30pm to 8:30pm their set included ten songs plus their ongoing medley tribute to Ozzy Osbourne.

Four songs in all from their classic 'Pornograffitti' album, two from 'Six' with four other albums represented.

And of course their biggest song 'More Than Words' played acoustically by Gary Cherone and Nuno Bettencourt.

The Las Vegas Residency Show

The slightly bigger stage set up in Sweden suggested they might be gearing up to do as you would expect and have a bigger production for these indoor arenas.

And, as many hoped, the almost full Las Vegas Residency stage set was back here at the 15,000 capacity Veikkaus Arena.

An arena which seemed almost full if not completely full.

The show began at around at 9pm and this time the band assembled beside Rick with the giant triangular lighting rig surrounding them.

Not rising up from below but pretty close to the original intro seen in February.

A spectacular start as Helsinki got to see the big production show debuted back in February at The Colosseum Theater at Caesars Palace.

The band sounding great as seen/heard on many video clips posted by fans and lots more photos during this show.

The usual classic songs followed along with the more recent 'Personal Jesus' and 'Just Like '73'.

Back to full arena mode after only playing a handful of them in the last few years.

They even brought a new cross-shaped Thrust stage with them to interact even more with their Finnish fans.

And kept WLAHC in for a second show in a row after bringing it back in Sweden.

This eetlist and stage setup looks set to be used throughout the upcoming European/UK arena shows.

Judge for yourself how good this production still looks from the over 40 and counting Fan Videos already posted by local fans.

Joe also had a visit from his friend, singer Michael Monroe (ex-Hanoi Rocks), who watched from side stage and posted video clips and pics on his IG.

Now another two days off for the band and certain members to relax and enjoy some World Cup games including a certain team playing tonight in Dallas.

Next up another indoor arena show in Switzerland.

19 Song Setlist

'Rejoice', 'Personal Jesus' and 'Just Like '73' all played in Helsinki for the first time.

'When Love & Hate Collide' played for a second show in a row after returning to the set.

Helsinki History

The first visit to Helsinki took place in June 1981 on the High 'n' Dry tour supporting Rainbow.

A planned show in March 1988 on the Hysteria tour was cancelled before a long wait.

Helsinki Ice Hall was headlined for the first time in May 1993 on the Adrenalize tour.

In June 2008 a second show was played at Helsinki Ice Hall on the Sparkle Lounge tour.

Rockfest in Hyvinkää near Helsinki was played for the first time in June 2019.

A second performance at Rockfest in Hyvinkää took place in 2023 during The World Tour.

Last nights show was the 6th performance in Helsinki.

The next Def Leppard show takes place in on 19th June in Zürich, Switzerland.
