This show marked the first live footage seen by fans during the 'YEAH!' era.
They had filmed 'Rock On' for Craig Ferguson's Late Late Show on 19th May but this was not aired until 23rd June.
The band played '20th Century Boy', for the first time ever, and 'Rock On' on the outdoor 'Toyota Concert Series' stage.

'Rock On' was briefly available on the NBC website.
In a first for the band three female backup vocalists were used during the T. Rex cover singing the vocals performed on the album by Stevie Vann Lange.
Other guests on this show included Orlando Bloom, late comedian Gary Shandling and Chamillionaire.
This appearance happened just over 10 years after they had played 'Work It Out' on the same show when launching the 'Slang' album. Their very first live network television performance in the USA.
Jay Leno ended his run on the show on 6th February 2014.
