8 Years Ago DEF LEPPARD's JOE ELLIOTT On BBC Breakfast (Video/Photos)
Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott appeared on BBC Breakfast in the UK on 1st December 2015 and video footage/photos are available.
Joe appeared for 7 minutes just after 8:30am on this live show and talked about making the current album, staying together for 38 years, the UK tour and heavy metal band cliches.
Clips were also shown from the Let's Go video and the 1987 PSSOM appearance on Top Of The Pops.
The show is broadcast from MediaCityUK in Manchester, England.
Joe appeared on the same show in May 2008 along with Phil Collen to promote the Songs From The Sparkle Lounge album/tour. The show was then based at BBC Television Centre in London (which closed down in 2013).
The tour started in Dublin, Ireland on 6th December before closing in Sheffield on 19th December.
Joe was interviewed by presenters Bill Turnbull and Louise Minchin (who once called them Def Lepp-ARD on this show in 2013 when interviewing Tim McGraw).

BBC Breakfast 1st December 2015 - Joe Elliott Interview Quotes
The New Album
"It was absolutely the most liberating, free sessions that we've ever done after 35 years of being a band."
UK Tour
"It finishes in Sheffield at the arena. Our birth town if you like where we formed in 1977. I don't get back often any more. I don't live there. Sav our bass player still does. Sheffield - I couldn't wait to get out of there in the 80s because it was really run down. And as soon as I left it got better. So I blame - I was part of the problem and the solution by leaving I believe. It's beautiful, it's a fantastic arena. It's one of the best arenas in the whole country really, Sheffield Arena."
"And it's always great to go back to your home town and play a sell out show. There's nothing better."
