DEF LEPPARD End Live 2026 India Tour In Bengaluru (Show Report/Setlist)

Def Leppard played a show in Bengaluru, India earlier today with 20 songs performed.

The show took place at the 30,000+ capacity NICE Grounds.

The band's first ever show in Bengaluru.

The third of three shows on the 2026 debut tour of India.

Def Leppard In Bengaluru

Two shows played so far on the band's first tour of India in Shillong and Mumbai.

And today it was the turn of Bengaluru (or Bangalore).

Bangalore's name was changed to Bengaluru in 2014 but also still gets called Bangalore (including by Phil in his recent tour preview video).

The venue, a massive area called NICE Grounds to the North West of the city centre.

A 600 mile journey south from the last venue to the state of Karnataka of which Bengaluru is the capital city.

Another typically hot day forecast with temperatures of 33C.

A hot day for another hot rock show in India.

This crowd of potentially up to 30,000 fans had a lot to live up to after Mumbai.

Joe declaring at the end that - "You guys are f***ing amazing!.".

Support Band Thermal And A Quarter

Thermal And A Quarter were named as the support band for this show.

An Indian rock band from Bengaluru/Bangalore who formed in 1996 and are celebrating their 30th anniversary.

The band are - Bruce Lee Mani (lead vocals/guitars), Tony Das (guitars), Leslie Charles (bass), Rajeev Rajagopal (drums).

They played a short set starting at 6:30pm and like fellow opening bands Trance Effect and Indus Creed, got great reviews from local fans.

Namaste Bengaluru!

Just after 8pm the band made their way on stage for the opening song.

And Bengaluru Rejoiced as the final show of this mini tour got underway.

Exactly seven years to the day since they were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame.

'Rejoice' was quickly followed by 'Animal' and the crowd were in full voice already and singing along.

Lots of pics and live videos meant anyone who wasn't there could also follow along for most of the first half of the show.

The band rocking the Bengaluru crowd with the same set as played at shows one and two.

Would they also get a little something here extra as in Mumbai?.

The answer was yes!.

Two Steps Behind

Once more to the delight of the fans Joe gave them an extra treat with his short solo version of 'Two Steps Behind'.

A mass sing-a-long here just like in Mumbai and Shillong will have to wait for the next tour for its chance to hear the song live.

It seems 'Two Steps Behind' has an unexpected popularity in India.

New life for a song that's been a set regular elsewhere for 33 years since its live concert debut at Don Valley in Sheffield in June 1993.

End Of The Tour - Alavida India!

Three shows played in less than a week and the tour has already come to an end.

Just over one week spent in India for their first shows after the Las Vegas Residency.

'PSSOM' of course ending things again after another 20 songs played.

It's fair to say the tour has been a triumph for the band.

Three great shows played to three great crowds and Joe acknowledging them at the end:

"Thanks for making us feel so welcome." - followed by - "We'll do it again one day alright." - so another tour is on the cards.

And now a long break with the next scheduled show in mid June but the promise of another new single to come when they resume the Live 2026 tour.

20 Song Setlist

'Rejoice' and all other songs played live in Bengaluru for the first time.

'Two Steps Behind' added as an extra song again here with only Joe playing.

Bengaluru History

Today's show was the first live performance in Bengaluru.

The next Def Leppard show takes place in on 13th June in RΓ€ttvik, Sweden at the spectacular Dalhalla venue.
