DEF LEPPARD's DRASTIC SYMPHONIES Set To Debut At #2 In The UK Album Chart
Def Leppard's Drastic Symphonies album recorded with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra is set for a high new entry in the UK charts this week.
The new album 'Drastic Symphonies' was released on Friday 19th May.
The album features 16 classic Def Leppard songs reworked and reimagined with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios in London.
The first single 'Animal' was released to digital and streaming services on the same day as the announcement followed by both 'Hysteria' on 5th May and 'When Love & Hate Collide' on 17th May.
UL Album Chart Update
The UK Official Charts company has updated its mid week album chart news with Def Leppard mentioned as one of the highest selling this week.
Lewis Capaldi will debut a Number One but Def Leppard look set for their highest new entry for many years.
'Drastic Symphonies' is on course for a possible debut at Number Two.
Rock Chart
If the album does get this high on the main Album Charts it seems certain to also debut at Number One on the Rock And Metal chart.
All charts will be announced on Friday 26th May.
Diamond Star Halos
In May 2022 'Diamond Star Halos' debuted at Number 5 and was Number One on the Rock Chart.
It had been predicted to be #4 in mid week.
Sadly it then fell off the charts pretty quickly as it also did in the USA and elsewhere.
