Def Leppard announced their 2018 world tour and posted their catalogue on digital streaming services on this day in 2018.
The band shared three huge announcements in one go on 19th January 2018.
The day was celebrated as #DEFLEPPARDAY online.
Digital/Streaming News
Following a few weeks of hints the band's entire catalogue (or most of it) was added to digital streaming services and available to buy from online digital retailers for the first time.
Amongst the releases was a 'Lost Session' live in studio recording from 2006.
Def Leppard/Journey Co-Headline North American Tour
Over 50 shows were announced as part of a massive North American tour with Journey as co-headliners.
The first time they had toured together since the 2006 YEAH! tour.
The tour schedule featured 10 big outdoor stadiums with Def Leppard set to headline five of these shows.
UK/Ireland Hysteria & More Tour
The third big announcement was a ten date tour featuring the first ever playing of the full 'Hysteria' album in the UK and Ireland.
The December tour would see the band play London's O2 Arena for the first time.
