DEF LEPPARD ANIMAL (DRASTIC SYMPHONIES) Added To BBC RADIO 2 Playlist

Def Leppard's current single Animal from the Drastic Symphonies album has been added to the BBC Radio 2 Playlist.

The new album Drastic Symphonies will be released on Friday 19th May.

The album will feature 16 classic Def Leppard songs reworked and reimagined with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios in London.

The first single 'Animal' was released to digital and streaming services on the same day as the announcement - listen below.

BBC Radio 2 New Music Playlist

'Animal' has now been added to the BBC Radio 2 New Music Playlist.

It is currently listed as part of the B List for 8th to 15th April 2023.

The 'Kick' single was added to the same playlist a year ago upon its release just as the 'Diamond Star Halos' album was announced.

Last month Spillways by Ghost (featuring Joe Elliott) was added to the A List.
