Sweden rejoices and watches Def Leppard rock in a former limestone quarry - staging not really much bigger than in India. Definitely smaller than Vegas - staging might get a little bigger for the upcoming arena shows.

And just as i said that - a more recent pic - the fans view tonight. Pretty cool - stage looks deceptively small from further away but quite a big area. GA/standing area in front of the stage - will Joe/Sav enture down into it during Slang?.

Just over 30 mins until show time and the posts from the venue have dried up - hopefully more to come though and they'll lots of stuff afterwards. Somewher ebetween 4 to 6,000 fans only at this venue and it is sold out.

Lookng a bit closer at one of those fans pics posted beloew - slightly bigger drumer riser/ramps area than they had in India. A bit more Vegas sized. Might even be room for the "rising up" part at the start of Rejoice. But definitely no big moving rig above them. Expecting the same setlist as Vegas/India.

Actually blue skies and bright sunshine here in England right now - just for a change. Sadly raining in Rattvik. The fans should be going down inside the quarry soon.

Oops - they brought the British summer with them. Forecast says light rain and possible thundery showers. The video/pics will still be good but not as good as they could have been with some summer sunshine. Looks like rain through the whole show.

There are buses from other cities to here like Stockholm but it seems many locals drive here and stay in camper vans/caravans on site. Sunset will happen during the end of the show unlike winter time when it sets before 3pm.

A few days of rehearsals for the band and now they have flown with the crew to Sweden. Here's what awaits them - a cool shot from behind the atage taken in 2025. Show time is 9pm CEST local time tomorrow (8pm UK).
Given that this venue is within a limestone quarry and far from any major town/city there might not be much "live" video during the show but we'll see.

The venue is an outdoor amphitheatre venue within a former limestone quarry, a spectacular setting for a show.
The spaceship like stage is also surrounded by water on one side and behind it (see Google street view below).
It was opened in 1995 and is located 167 miles to the North West of Stockholm.
