On This Day in Def Leppard History - 7th September, the following concerts and events took place. Including the UK release of the 'Pour Some Sugar On Me' single 31 years ago on this day in 1987.

On the same day in 1987 the band began a sold out three night stand at Hammersmith Odeon in London, England on the UK 'Hysteria' tour.
Also on this day in 1988 a show took place in Jackson, MS kicking off a two month run of In The Round shows to end the 14 month 'Hysteria' world tour.
As this leg began the 'Hysteria' album was in its first week of a three week run at Number One on the Billboard Top 200 chart. It had already spent 3 weeks at the top on 23rd/30th July and 13th August.
The 2018 North American tour continues later tonight in Phoenix, AZ with co-headliners Journey.
