DEF LEPPARD's HYSTERIA Album Re-Enters UK Chart At Number 41

Hysteria 1987.

Def Leppard's Hysteria album has re-entered the UK charts this week at Number 41 following it's streaming release.

The original album was released on 19th January on streaming services and digital download sites along with 14 other albums and one EP from the band's back catalogue plus a new live session.

This takes the album to 107 weeks on the chart since it first entered at Number One in August 1987.

The record company listed for the album is now UMC/Virgin following the new digital deal.

The album had previously spent 105 weeks on the UK charts in eight separate chart runs between August 1987 and May 1994.

The streaming and digital download release accounts for the surge in sales.

It also entered the Sales chart at Number 27 along with 'Vault Greatest Hits 1980-1995' at Number 88.

The album had its 106th chart week in August 2017 following the release of the 30th Anniversary Edition.
