On this day in 2014 the 'Slang Deluxe Edition' album was released. The new version of the album was released as a 30 track 2CD edition and a 38 track digital release and 3 three track digital 'Slang Video Collection'.

This release came exactly 18 years after the band completed recording the original 'Slang' album at Bow Lane Studios in Dublin, Ireland.
On this day in 1992 the 'High 'n' Dry' album was certified 2x Platinum in the USA having been released in 1981.
On this day in 1988 the band played a show in St. Louis, MO on the Hysteria tour. It had to be played at one end of the venue due to weight restrictions.
The band were due to play a show on this day in 2016 in Bossier City, LA but the show was postponed on 1st February.
Later tonight Phil Collen plays another show on the G3 Tour with Joe Satriani and John Petrucci in Albany, NY.
