Def Leppard played a show in Manchester, England on this day in 2003 during the X/Ten tour and media photos are available.

The show took place at the Carling Apollo.

The first show by the band in this city since the November 1996 Slang UK tour.

This venue was last played in September 1987 on the first Hysteria UK tour.

A venue also played on their first three major UK headline tours in 1980, 1981 and 1983.

It was also played twice in October 1979 when they supported AC/DC on their 'Highway To Hell' tour.
