DEF LEPPARD Win Fan Vote/Set To Be Inducted Into Rock Hall Of Fame

Def Leppard are set to be inducted into the American Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame after winning the fan vote.

Fan voting ended today with Def Leppard winning by 119,803 votes.

The official final total was 547,647 votes. Just short of 550,000 with around 3,000 votes cast in the last three or four hours.

They are now set to be (quite possibly) inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame at the 2019 Induction ceremony which takes place on 29th March 2019 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

All previous Fan Vote winners have been inducted including Bon Jovi in 2018.

All other voting ends on 10th December and the five inductees are then confirmed.

The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame was founded in April 1983 and the building is located in Cleveland, OH.

The British version called the 'UK Music Hall Of Fame' and the annual awards ceremony began in 2004 but only lasted until 2006 when it was cancelled. It recognised artists ' lifetime contributions to music in the United Kingdom'.

Joe appeared in the induction video for Bon Jovi in 2006.
